In California, the stakes are sky high in the November 8th election. Great Republican candidates up and down the ballot need our help.
The California Cruz Alumni leaders are mobilizing volunteers to help California Republican candidates. The main page of this site will be used for this purpose through election day.
When volunteers sign up, an email is generated which will be forwarded to a contact with the volunteer's county Republican Party.
On the main page we have also included the California Republican Party's list of targeted races, together with links for people to follow to volunteer for those candidates.
To promote this campaign encouraging people to volunteer for get out the vote efforts we're encouraging everyone to spread the word through social media. People can either contact candidate campaigns individually, or come to this site to be connected to their county Republican Party or target candidates identified by the state party.
A great presidential campaign deserves a great alumni network.
In California, our year-long effort to prepare the battlefield for California's Republican presidential primary brought together thousands of activists, donors and volunteers ready to do what it takes to elect Ted Cruz President of the United States.
Largely unknown outside of Texas when he entered the race in 2015, Senator Cruz outperformed 15 of the candidates who ultimately entered that contest -- an extraordinary performance by a candidate of extraordinary courage and principle. And several times during the primary contest it appeared Californians would have our voices heard. Following a tremendous come-from-behind victory in the Iowa Caucuses on February 1, and later with a string of victories in Utah, Colorado, North Dakota and Wisconsin looked as though the race would make it all the way to California on June 5.
We were well prepared with a full slate of delegates and volunteers at the ready in every Congressional District in the state, paid resources of the national campaign just started moving into the state when the contest ended on May 3rd with the results of the Indiana primary.
So many wonderful people came together for that campaign, and wanted to stay together and continue working to move conservative ideas forward, that we created the California Cruz Alumni Network, first as a Facebook page and now as this site.
On these pages we'll main build and maintain an archive of the work California Cruz volunteers performed in 2015 and 2016, and provide news and links to the work of Senator Cruz in Texas and the Senate.
If you're a Californian who supported Senator Cruz' presidential campaign in California, please be sure to sign up for Alumni Network updates and information, and thank you again for your support of Senator Cruz.
